Crew Roles

  • Don’t hard-stop unless the gunner specifically asks — it disrupts the barrel too much. (Alternatively, always hard-stop — just agree on it with your gunner before you roll out.)
    • Hard stop = shift up and throttle down.
  • Don’t give them your ass. Keep your front toward the threat.
  • After stopping, always shift to 1 or R so you can move instantly.
  • Communicate: call your turns when you can, and turn after the gunner shoots if possible.
  • If you get hit in the rear (a shot + engine damage), spin immediately to face the threat.
  • Always load AP by default.
  • Switch to HE when needed.
  • Reload the instant you shoot — don’t sit empty.
  • If your gun isn’t pointed forward, make sure the crew knows (e.g. “gun is rear / 6 o’clock”).
  • Call out kills so the crew can re-prioritize (“heavy down, turning to the medium”).

Call out WHAT, then WHERE.

  • “Tank, rear, 120 degrees”
  • “Infantry, right, 1‑2‑5”
  • “Tank, 310”

Your job:

  • Watch the rear. Your teammates can see forward — only you can see behind. That’s your lane.
  • Call the threat and the fix: “Tank heading for our ass — spin left.”
